Gain Knowledge

CAK Safety Council, a partnership of Green Chamber and Ohio BWC, recognizes the importance of safety in the workplace. Through research we know a safe workplace positively impacts a company’s bottom line as well as influences employee retention. Each month the CAK Safety Council addresses an issue related to occupational safety and health, workers’ compensation and risk management. Through expert speakers, participating companies learn about changing standards and regulations, new techniques, products and services, and best practices. Each meeting comes with a challenge to implement their new knowledge at the workplace.  Read More …

Challenge the Status Quo

Like the building blocks of the Green Chamber logo, companies assemble the building blocks of their respective businesses. Those building blocks start with a VISION which propels the company forward and ultimately the blocks include the collective ownership of the COMMUNITY and respectful appreciation for the ENVIRONMENT. It is these efforts the Green Chamber recognizes with their IMPACT Awards and Luncheon. This event honors businesses and professionals who have made focused accomplishments in one or more of these areas. The luncheon includes a keynote speaker who addresses impact. The Chamber is always excited to celebrate those who have worked hard and made a difference.  Read More …

The Green Chamber businesses are diverse. We are large and small; We are new start-ups and well-established, known entities; and We represent retail, service and industrial businesses. Diversity in members challenges us to think outside our traditional box, provide more clarity in defining our target customer, and answering the telltale question – Do you sell what you make or make what you sell?  Read More …
