Founded nearly 30 years ago, the Green Area Chamber of Commerce emerged from a vision of community leaders aiming to unite and empower local businesses. Throughout its history, the Chamber has been a steadfast advocate for sustainable growth, successfully influencing policies and initiatives that elevate the quality of life for all residents.

Core Values

To survive and prosper in the new economy for the benefit of the community, the Green Area Chamber of Commerce must continue — and expand upon — its tradition of business excellence and community leadership.
The Chamber has long been an incubator of new ideas; having spun off successful civic-purposed economic development organizations including the Green Area Economic Development Council and the Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.
