The Green Area Chamber of Commerce has been a leader in our community for nearly 30 years. Over that time, we've helped many hundreds of businesses grow and expand and we've been a constant advocate for investment in our community's quality of life.

The founding officers and members of the Chamber wanted the organization to be "a forceful working unit for the good of the Green Community". As we move forward for the next 30 years, we remain committed to this important work.

Leading Business Growth. The Green Area Chamber of Commerce delivers benefit to the community by leading in the promotion of economic growth, advocating for the interests of business, and providing service and educational opportunities that help our members grow.

To survive and prosper in the new economy for the benefit of the community, the Green Area Chamber of Commerce must continue -- and expand upon -- its tradition of business excellence and community leadership.

The Chamber has long been an incubator of new ideas; having spun off successful civic-purposed economic development organizations including the Green Area Economic Development Council and the Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.

To continue this tradition, the Chamber must hold-true to its core values. These core values characterize the organization, its leadership and its staff. They serve as a guide for all aspects of personal and organizational behavior associated with the Green Area Chamber of Commerce.
