Our speaker will be Renee Onesti, Director of Operations with Kent Elastomer Products, who will be presenting on Safety As a Core Value! She leads the operations and maintenance teams to maximize safety, productivity, efficiency and reliability by evaluating and improving the equipment, facilities and processes for all three KEP locations. The pressure to cut costs and be more efficient with fewer employees is a reality for most American Manufacturers. Justifying a safety program (and it’s costs!) isn’t always high on the priority list even if we say it is. We will learn some ways to promote safety through leadership skills even when production is king.
