CAK Safety Council, a partnership of Green Chamber and Ohio BWC, recognizes the importance of safety in the workplace. Through research we know a safe workplace positively impacts a company’s bottom line as well as influences employee retention. Each month the CAK Safety Council addresses an issue related to occupational safety and health, workers’ compensation and risk management. Through expert speakers, participating companies learn about changing standards and regulations, new techniques, products and services, and best practices. Challenge the Status Quo
Like the building blocks of the Green Chamber logo, companies assemble the building blocks of their respective businesses. Those building blocks start with a VISION which propels the company forward and ultimately the blocks include the collective ownership of the COMMUNITY and respectful appreciation for the ENVIRONMENT. It is these efforts the Green Chamber recognizes with their IMPACT Awards and Luncheon. Connect to the Community
Each fall we host an annual Community Expo to showcase area businesses and organizations to local residents. This family-friendly, free event is open to the public and features:
- Fun kids activities
- Over 65 vendors
- Collaboration with our area schools, Coventry, Green, Manchester and Springfield, and municipalities.
